Ketika Syaitan Bersuara!

Apatah lagi al-Wadud (Maha Pengasih), ar-Rahman (Maha Pemurah), ar-Rahim (Maha Penyayang).....afala tatafakkarunn???

Ketika syaitan mula bersuara.

Dan syaitan berkata ketika perkara (hisab) itu telah diselesaikan;

Ibrahim:22

Snowboarding at Nagornaya Ski Hill at Moscow

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim and assalamualaikum

Alhamdulillah, even though some of us hard to accept this fact for some reasons but Moscow still is a unique city because there are so many things to do without having to leave the city boundaries. One of them is snowboarding or skiing in the city itself. There are 2 ski hills within Moscow itself. Nagornaya, also known as Kant Ski Center, and Krylatskoe, also known as Lata Track. Nagornaya is indeed much better from a snowboarding or skiing point-of-view as it’s bigger, steeper, and costs less than Krylatskoe. Being inside the city, Nagornaya ski hill can be accessed either by car, by bus or by metro (grey line, metro station “Nagornaya”). But as we are students, bus and metro are our only choice. ;)

Nagornaya has many ski & snowboarding tracks for various skill levels.

Working Hours              : 9 am - 11pm
Address                         : Metro Nagornaya, 2
How to get there            : From Metro Nagornaya (Gray line, south), walk for 5 mins,   follow   the signboard (KANT)

Nagornaya offers outdoor activities of guaranteed pleasure. The ski rental will supply you with all the equipment needed but i would suggest borrowing the equipment from your friends. So, you can expect a full day of winter fun with your friends, insyaAllah.
From my experiences, snowboarding can be more fun than ice-skating because of several reasons. For example, the slopes are covered by snow and if you fall, it wouldn’t hurt much, not like ice-skating. But the downside is the cost of the equipment is higher compare to ice-skate. So, be wise!

“O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).” [Surah Al-Hujuraat, 49:13]

It was easy to fine place to pray as long as it’s clean and does not block people’s way. For the wudhu’, if the water from toilet or river are too cold, you can even tayammun using the snow.

Praying is a must even you are far away from your house or mosque.

As usual, I always bring my own food. You can also buy something from the café on top of the slopes but it is quiet expensive. In the café, they prohibit the customer from bringing in outside food. To avoid from being scolded, please buy something such as chai balshoe about 500ml for 50 ruble. ;)

Having lunch together makes the ukhwah stronger.

View in café.

Last but not least, even we had so much fun snowboarding; i would like the readers to always remember Allah! Why? How is it related to snowboarding on the hill in the Moscow’s city? Then the answer is, ask yourselves who created the things around you? Here on the hill, we can point out plenty of signs of Allah’s existence and to praise Allah when we see something that amazes us.

The solar eclipse is one of the Allah Almighty’s beautiful creations.

Breathtaking views can be seen on the slopes during sunset.

A very beautiful night time on top of the slopes. Subhanallah!

“Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.”

[Surah Al-Baqara, 2:164]

Wallahu ‘alam. See you there! ;)

Mango from Windows for smartphone.

With Android's Ice Cream Sandwich and the iPhone 5 on the way, Windows Phone 7 needs an update to fill in the missing pieces. The Windows Phone 7.5 'Mango' brings with it a comprehensive list of fixes and features, but how sweet is it in action?
Windows Phone 7.5 (codenamed 'Mango') is a major software update for Windows Phone, the mobile operating system by Microsoft. Although the OS internally identifies itself as version 7.1, it is marketed as version 7.5 in all published materials intended for end-users.
It's full of people-centric features that make it easier to stay in touch with friends and family, to communicate, and to share ideas. It's easier to use than Android, and in many ways slicker than Apple's iOS. Mango brings dozens, if not hundreds, of new features to Windows Phone.
Features:

1)  Multitasking
Windows Phone 7.5 Mango has multitasking capabilities, but what you get from these depends on the apps you run. Some apps – music players, for instance – get to run in the background, but mostly what you get is the same fast-task switching as before, with the addition of an app picker view so you can choose what you want to go back to.

2) Social Integration
Only Windows Phone has a People Hub with one-touch access to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, so you'll always be in the loop. Skim the latest posts and pictures from your friends. Dial, text, or IM your contacts, one at a time or in groups. Or use the Me card to post your status, see who's writing on your Wall, or change your profile pictures, right from your phone.
You can also chat with Facebook friends just like you were sending text messages. In fact, you can reply to a text message with a Facebook message and vice versa, and the whole conversation shows up in the same place.

3) Internet Explorer 9
Internet Explorer Mobile puts the web in your pocket, harnessing the power of your phone's hardware for faster, smoother web browsing. Open multiple tabs, get search suggestions as you type in the address bar, and tap phone numbers and addresses on webpages to call or map them. Internet Explorer is social, too: with a few taps in the browser, you can share a web link to your social networks or via email. If you buy a Windows Phone 7 device, Bing may well be your browser of choice. If your operator has a deal with Yahoo instead, you can thankfully now change the default browser search back to Bing. Unsurprisingly, you can't opt for Google, though.

4) Groups and Marketplace hub
Groups help you focus on the contacts that matter. Organize your favorite folks into Groups – family, friends from the neighborhood, soccer parents. Then you can email, text, or chat with a whole Group at once. Pin a Group to Start, and you'll see missed calls, new messages, and social networking updates from the Group members.
Marketplace is the place to shop for music, TV shows, movies, podcasts, and tens of thousands of standout apps and marquee games. Available in three places—your phone, the web, or the Zune software on your computer—Marketplace is quick and convenient. Lots of things are free, you can often try before you buy, and one-click billing makes checkout a breeze.

5) Music, Video and Xbox
The Music + Videos Hub is your anytime entertainment center. Play your tunes—synced from your PC—or download new music from Marketplace. Watch TV shows, movies, and your own videos on the high-res screen. Create custom playlists or let Smart DJ do it for you. And add an optional Zune Music Pass to get unlimited music for a low monthly fee.
Word games, strategy, action—there's a game for everyone in Marketplace. The Games Hub is your on-the-go arcade, where you can play solo or use the free Xbox LIVE service to match wits with friends wherever you are. You can even track your Gamerscore and dress up your avatar, right on your phone

Conclusion
Windows Phone 7.5 is supremely usable, surprisingly powerful and delivers the experience Microsoft has been promising, with only a few rough edges left.
This means the operating system has the same elegant and engaging user interface as ever, with colourful tiles and plenty of white space – but it now also has key features that were previously missing to help it match the current versions of iOS and Android. Some aspects even leapfrog other platforms.
Windows Phone 7 has plenty to offer, but so does its more established rivals. I guess what I’m saying is that if a friend asked me for a smartphone recommendation, I’d still suggest they choose between the iPhone and Android unless they’re inextricably entwined in the Microsoft and/or Zune ecosystem. That could change in 2012 and it will be interesting to see how Microsoft continues to build on what is a solid smartphone foundation.

Nasi Dagang Terengganu Gaya Perantau

Bahan-bahan:-

Untuk Nasi
Beras wangi/basmati( saya guna beras biasa brand ashan jer =] ) – 2 cawan
Santan/susu -3 cawan
Halba -1 sudu ++(kalau rasa x cukup boleh tambah lagi)
Halia-2 cm(dimayang halus)
Bawang putih-5 ulas( dimayang)
Bawang merah/bawang besar-1 biji( dimayang)

Untuk gulai

Bahan kisar
Kunyit-seketul kecik( kalau guna serbuk 1 sudu teh)
Lengkuas-3 cm(lebih kurang sebesar ibu jari)
Bawang merah/besar- 1 biji
Cili kering- 6 tangkai(kalau nak pedas boleh lebihkan)
Ketumbar- 1 sudu
Jintan manis-1/2 sudu

Bahan tumis
Bawang putih-4/5 ulas( dimayang)
Bawang merah/besar- ½ biji (dimayang)
Halia- 3 cm(dimayang)
5 sekawan( kulit kayu manis, bunga cengkih, bunga lawang, buah pelaga)

Bahan lain
Santan
Garam/gula-secukup rasa.
Untuk lauk
Ikan skumbria-1 ekor
Garam
Gula melaka(kalau takde gula pun boleh =] )
Asam keping.
Untuk acar
Lobak merah
Kubis
Nanas
Timun
Bawang
Cuka
Garam/gula

Cara-cara:-
So cara nak buat dia sangat senang kerana gaya perantau.

1, Untuk nasi, kalau asalnya perlu dikukus tetapi, orang merantau dia tanak nasi  macam biasa dan tambah semua bahan-bahan
InsyaAllah jadi.

2. Untuk lauk.

Mula-mula, potong ikan tu biar sedang-sedang saja size nya. Kemudian boleh dikukus.
Apa!! X tahu nak kukus macam mana?? takpe, senang jer. Just masukkan ikan dalam periuk yg sederhana besar dan isi sedikit air(sikit jer tau, biar tenggelam ¼ jer daripada ikan tu). Kemudian tambah garam, gula melaka(gula) dan asam keping. Masak sehingga isi ikan jadi putih. Setelah masak boleh diasingkan

p/s: air ikan kukus tu jgn dibuang

3. Untuk gulai.

Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan tumis sehingga naik bau, kemudian masukan bahan kisar dan dimasak seketika. Selepas itu tambahkan air ikan kukus bersama asam keping nya sekali dan dimasak seketika. Kemudian masukan isi ikan dan santan dam masak sampai mendidih.

p/s: gulai nasi dagang nie kena sedikit pekat and manis

4.Untuk acar.
Potong sayuran memanjang dan gaul bersama bawang, cuka, garam dan gula secukup rasa.
Yeahhh!!! Dan siap. Sedia untuk dihidang

Selamat mencuba yer.

**tips nak pekatkan kuah, tambah sejemput beras ketika kisar rempah

1.Afghan protests continue over Quran burning

The fourth straight day of protests over the burning of Qurans at a US-led base in Afghanistan have led to the death of 11 Afghans, including a protester who was shot dead in the capital Kabul.
Friday's deaths, the most since protests began on Tuesday, bring the four day total to 25 dead, including two US soldiers.
Earlier on Friday, seven protesters were killed in the western city of Herat, where protesters tried to storm the US consulate. Another protester died in the Pol-e-Khomri area of northern Baghlan province. Two deaths were also reported in the eastern province of Khost.
Hundreds of demonstrators marched toward the palace of Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, chanting "Death to America!", prompting security forces to fire into the air in an attempt to disperse them.

2.UFO shocks Brazilians

An identified metal sphere has plunged from the sky on unsuspecting villagers in northern Brazil, causing an uproar. According to eyewitnesses, the UFO weighs about 50 kilograms and measures roughly one meter in diameter.

The sphere fell on Wednesday in a village of Riacho dos Poços in Brazilian Maranhão state. No casualties were reported apart from an unfortunate cashew tree that was severed by the object as it plunged to the ground, according to MR NOTÍCIAS, a Mata Roma news site.

3.Pagan meets present as Russians celebrate Pancake Week

As Russians stuff themselves with pancakes all week, RT went out to join the festivities and find out where the best venues are to celebrate Maslenitsa in Moscow.

Maslenitsa is a traditional festival that marks the arrival of spring. As is the case with many ancient holidays, Maslenitsa has a dual ancestry – both pagan and Christian.
On the pagan side, Maslenitsa was celebrated on the day of the vernal equinox. It marked the welcoming of spring, and was all about the reawakening of nature and the rejuvenating effects of the sun’s warmth.

4.Friendship Under Fire

Next month, U.S. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a key meeting over the Iranian nuclear challenge that will test their sometimes rocky relationship. After a weekend visit by National Security Advisor Tom Donilon to Israel, the White Houseannounced this week that Obama will host Netanyahu in Washington on March 5. This will be an opportunity for the two leaders to synchronize their positions on Iran. Whether they can reach some common ground -- now or in the near future -- could be a decisive factor in Israel's decision-making on whether to strike Iran sometime this year.

PEDULI UMMAH, PEDULI SYRIA

On Feb. 3, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's security forces began a bombardment of Homs, one of the centers of the revolt against the regime. Over the succeeding 20 days, the assault reduced the city to rubble. Mulham al-Jundi, a member of the opposition Syrian National Council (SNC), recently traveled to Homs to provide an up-close look at the destruction wrought in what has become the single greatest confrontation between Assad and his rivals. These are his photos, which he originally placed on his Facebook page.

(HR At-Tabrani)

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Run! Run~~~!!!

His heart was beating fast, faster than he could ever run.

“Tuk, tuk, tuk..”

“How should I open this~~??”

His icy cold fingers were stiff, numbed by the vicious frosty wind which almost pushed his small figure to the ground. Drove to frustration by his own hands, he pushed the handle down using his right elbow and burst opened the white door.

Freefalling~
His lips moved slowly, trying to force an apologizing smile while still panting rather loudly. “Zdravzstvuyte…”

The whole class was silenced by the interruption he caused. Walking hurriedly towards his desk, his steps came to an abrupt stop; when the teacher suddenly glanced at him with a stern expression, at the same time lifted his right hand up, revealing a silver watch on his wrist; and said:

“Aren’t you a muslim?”

Fatih’s face felt warm, even warmer than the central heater inside his room. Drops of cold sweat rolled down from his temples and onto the tiled floor. Oh! The shame! All of a sudden, he found himself plummeting downwards, freefalling with the tiles from the class and his drops of sweat, into a never ending abyss. His arms were stretched out, trying to reach anything he could grab.  “Allah!”

Gasping for air, Fatih managed to open his eyes and caught a look of the things he didn’t expect to see. Laptop? Notes? Pillows? Eh? “Astaghfirullah…was I dreaming..?”

The microwave oven clock showed 6.30am. Alhamdulillah. Enough time to get ready for class~~ Fiuh~~ Not wasting any time, he hopped off from his bed, did some stretching and prompted himself to start the day.

-8.00am-

As he tied his shoelaces, he took his red muffler and pressed the button “ON” on his mp3 player. He looked at the mirror and opened the door while saying basmalah. As he took his first step, he pressed the “PLAY” button on the mp3.

The young man’s ears were instantly flooded by : “Kesenangan yang datang, tak akan selamanya, begitulah selepas susah ada kesenangan…seperti selepas malam , datangnya siang, oleh itu waktu senang jangan lupa daratan………..”

From far, he could see people waving at him, hopping up and down; desperately trying to capture his attention.

As he jerked off the earphones from his ear canal…..“Fatih, bus!! Run!! Faster!!!!”, shouted 3 figures from the other side of the road. Fatih crossed the road as fast as he could, with his red muffler trailing behind his back. Every breath fogged up his geeky glasses but he kept on going. As he reached the bus stop, his eyes swept along every corner searching for the bus.

“Eh, Fatih, Fatih.. sorry, heheh..wrong bus la…heheh..” uttered one of his group mates when he saw Fatih frantically glancing right and left, even taking off his glasses to ensure that the fogged glasses didn’t limit his view.

“Owh…okay.”  responded Fatih, trying to act cool even though his face was flushed, still catching his breath. The four of them stood there silently, waiting for bus number 68 to come.

“Ah! Bus, bus!” shrieked a guy in an oversized neon green winter coat. All of them rushed to the middle of the bus stop to yet again be let down by bus number 43 which was as empty as their grumbling stomachs.
-_-“

-8.40am-

Waiting. Their hands were tucked safely inside their pockets, trying to preserve the heat generated; helping the vessels which were constricting dutifully in order to maintain normal temperature of the body. As the compensatory signs of hypothermia started to manifest themselves glaringly, they started to shiver. But after some minutes they started losing the feeling of their foot bit by bit. Like standing on nothing. Floating in mid air.

The crunching sound of the compressed snow caused by the turning of the tyres of the bus made Fatih feels warmer.

“68 is it?” asked Fatih with his eyes closed, trying to ignore the cold.

“Nope…” the rest of them mumbled disappointedly.

“I’m gonna lose my toes by the end of internal med cycle la if macam ni~!” uttered one of them, angered by the seemed to be non-existent 68 bus.

“Datang la nanti tu…insyaAllah, insyaAllah!” said Fatih, comforting his friend, at the same time himself.

-9.10am-

Still waiting. Now, all of the group members were already there. The darkness of the winter subuh was lifted, and the garish sunlight started to smile upon their frozen faces.

“Should we just go home now…?” asked Fadhil, hesitantly; as his eyes followed suit several people who waited with them since 8 am, walking to the other side of the road; towards the hostel.

“Yelah..i can’t feel my legs and…my stomach’s digesting itself…should we…” said Termizi.

“There’ll be no bus…will there…ya Allah, sampai bile ni..” , Fatih monologue within himself. His fingers were painful, as if bitten by those little snowflakes. They were as stiff as little twigs, reminding him of his dream the other night. “The teacher would be so mad! WAAhh! What to do? What to do? WAAhh!!!”  he thought, looking down at his boots; not knowing how to explain himself later.

“Eh, 68! 68! Finally~~~ Alhamdulillah~!!” said Fadhil happily to Fatih, almost shouting his lungs out.

“Subhanallah”, whispered the young man with the red muffler wrapping his neck automatically, as the doors of bus number 68 swung open right in front of him. Fatih was very embarrassed with himself when an ayah from the holy quran circled inside his head:

“….Mereka ditimpa kemelaratan, penderitaan dan diguncang (dengan berbagai cobaan), sehingga Rasul dan orang-orang yang beriman bersamanya berkata “Kapankah datang pertolongan Allah?” Ingatlah, sesungguhnya pertolongan Allah itu dekat.”    - Al-Baqarah:214

-10.00am-

As if trying to test their patience, the cuboid-shaped machine with four big tyres moved slooowwlyyy, slower than a rock. When they thought that they’ve moved 2 meters forward, the bus moved 2 meters back….Cars, buses, lorries, vans; you name it; everything could be seen lining up along the tarred road. The line was as long as the eyes could see.

“Biar betul….” Termizi scraped the frosted window to take a look outside.
Bus collision
Termizi’s eyes almost popped out when he saw two buses which looked like they collided with each other. Pieces of shattered glass were everywhere. The front part of one of the buses was coal black, as if it had caught fire.

“That’s why the bus is moving this slow~~”

“Mizi, do you think that the teacher will be mad at us?” asked Fatih, just to let out the load from his chest.

“Yep, of course! Class starts at 9 kan? Heheh..”

T_T

-10.30am-

As they reached hospital number 13, they quickly took off their winter coats and ran straight into the class on the 12th floor. Waiting for the lift means that 30 more minutes would be burned to ashes.

Anxiously, they took their respective seats and waited for the teacher to come. Fatih held his breath as the sound of Tamara Georgeevna’s footsteps came nearer and nearer towards the door.

“Kreekk” the door opened noisily, as if trying to increase their anxiousness.

“Good morning students. Why are you late?” the dreaded question finally came out from her mouth.

But even before Fatih’s lips could even open, she continued, with a smile on her face;

“Car accident again is it? Okay, let’s start our lesson for today……….”

Fatih’s jaw dropped, not believing that she didn’t even scold them. She even invented an excuse for them! She had husnu zhan towards them. Not even the slightest wrinkle was visible on her face to indicate that she was mad!

Again, Fatih’s face became plethoric, and warm, his ears were burning. Pulling out his hanky, Fatih wiped the sweat dripping from his temples and chin. “Ya Allah!”

In his mind, he recalled and counted how many times he had suuz zhan towards his teacher and even towards Allah on that very day!

While waiting for the bus, he was almost sure that no bus would come; inside the bus; dreading that bad things like being scolded by Tamara Gregoreevna would happen; ah! So many many times! How could he?  How dare he?? Even Tamara Georgeevna could husnu zhan towards them, but he, Fatih; he had suuz zhan towards Allah?  T_T

When the bus number 68 made them wait for more than 1 hour; why didn’t he remind himself of Allah’s promise in surah al-insyirah?

“Maka sesungguhnya bersama kesulitan ada kemudahan, seungguhnya bersama kesulitan ada kemudahan,”   -Al-insyirah : 5-6

His eyes turned red and glassy when the whole day repeated itself inside his mind…astaghfirullahalazim.
Daripada Abu Hurairah r.a., Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda yang bermaksud: "Bahawa Allah Azzawajalla berfirman: "Aku hanya mengikut sangkaan hamba-Ku sahaja.

-Al-Hujurat: 12

Fatih closed his eyes, causing tears to roll down his cheeks when the sentence that was spoken by a character in his dream echoed in his ears:
      "Fatih, aren’t you a muslim?"

Yes, yes, I am a muslim..InsyaAllah!
